Chippewa Watershed Conservancy Seeks Executive Director

The Chippewa Watershed Conservancy is seeking a full-time Executive Director.  Responsibilities include supporting and implementing the CWC’s strategic plan and associated management plans, implementing land conservation and stewardship policies and practices of the CWC, be the official representative of the CWC to develop and maintain community relations and outreach, be responsible to build endowed and designated funds by active fundraising, financially manage the CWC, and provide staff and volunteer management and leadership. 

UP Land Conservancy Seeks Land Protection Manager

The Upper Peninsula Land Conservancy is seeking a part-time Land Protection Manager to help protect new properties and manage 64 currently protected properties across the UP. This position ensures the effective, sustainable management of UPLC's properties, oversees restoration-based timber management and trails program, and organizes and conducts land monitoring procedures and management practices. Grand Traverse Seeks Land Protection Assistant

POSITION FILLED: ​The Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy is seeking a full-time Land Protection Assistant. The position will work with other land protection staff to conduct all phases of conservation easement, Conservancy land acquisition, community-assist projects, research and prepare grant applications, landowner outreach, and project recordkeeping. Applications are due by March 20, 2019.

Walloon Lake Trust Seeks Watershed Stewardship Coordinator

POSITION FILLED: The Walloon Lake Trust and Conservancy is seeking a part-time, seasonal Watershed Stewardship Coordinator. This position is responsible for leading the development and delivery of the Stewardship and Water Quality Programs, coordinating annual stewardship work plan delivery and reporting, and identifying and overseeing stewardship volunteers. This position starts in April 2019 and goes until October 2019, with the potential of moving to full-time in 2020. 

Huron Pines Seeks Applicants for Two Full-Time Positions

Huron Pines is seeking a full-time Land Protection Director that will provide leadership in native ecosystem protection and restoration by identifying and prioritizing projects, coordinating programs and finding resources necessary to conserve natural ecosystems.  Applications are due by April 1, 2019. 

Huron Pines is also seeking a full-time Conservation Stewardship Coordinator. The position's primary focus will be to develop and implement projects on Huron Pines preserve lands, with private landowners, on school forest property, and on public lands in order to improve forest health and habitat for wildlife. Applications are due April 1, 2019.

Mid-Michigan Land Conservancy Seeks Land Conservation Manager

POSITION FILLED: Legacy Land Conservancy is seeking an Executive Director to work in partnership with the Board of Directors, as an ambassador and advocate for Legacy’s mission. The Executive Director is responsible for the organization's consistent achievement of its mission through relevant initiatives, strategic planning and fundraising, as well as for meeting financial objectives and oversight of the operations of the organization. The Executive Director is the face of the organization, is an active member of the community and works directly with partner organizations.
