Outdoor Recreation Planner with the National Park Service

The National Park Service is seeking a qualified individual to work as an Outdoor Recreation Planner on behalf of the North Country National Scenic Trail.  The Outdoor Recreation Planner will participate in Statewide Trail Protection Planning, perform and/or coordinate local Optimum Location Reviews and other related planning efforts and documents as necessary. Compliance involves following NPS/Midwest region compliance (NEPA and Section 106) processes where required/warranted.

Little Forks Conservancy Conservation Outreach Coordinator

APPLICATION PERIOD CLOSED.  The Little Forks Conservancy is seeking a new full-time staff member to coordinate our public outreach and to develop and implement a new Conservancy program with community partners. Outreach activities include managing volunteer relations, coordinating events and representing the Conservancy at events across the region. The new program, which will launch in May of 2015, will focus on promotion of native landscapes and elimination of invasive species at a residential scale. 

The successful candidate will have a friendly, outgoing personality and be capable of communicating in a variety of circumstances that can range from one-on-one home visits to public speaking engagements. S/he will have a strong working knowledge of native plants and their habitats; invasive plants and their control; and principles and practices of natural resource conservation and management.   For more information, please visit:
