Attention Heart of the Lakes Members
Join us for Michigan Land Conservancy Day, an opportunity for land conservancy staff and board members to discuss land conservation issues and the work land conservancies do with their state senators and representatives. Attendees will meet one-on-one with legislators, attend natural resources, environmental and agriculture committee hearings, and sit in on a session of the House of Representatives.
Attendees will be briefed on Heart of the Lakes policy agenda and specific, timely issues common to all conservancies, but will also be highly encouraged to talk about their own conservancy-specific issues.
Agenda Highlights
11:30 - HOL members attend lunch and briefing session at the Lansing Radisson Hotel
12:30 - Visit legislators' offices
2:30 - HOL Members attend House Session and/or committee hearings of interest
After Session - Visit legislators' offices
4:30 - Happy hour
