A Special Peer Gathering for Executive Directors (or Board Chairs of any volunteer groups)

Featuring: Keith Ross and Helen Taylor
Registration Deadline:
Friday, April 15, 2011

Please join your executive director colleagues from around the state to learn about an exciting new trend in conservation—land aggregation—as well as new initiatives for The Nature Conservancy in Michigan.

Aggregation is a cost effective, landscape level protection model successfully underway in New England that engages multiple land trusts, increases the pace of conservation, and attracts new funding for conservation easements. A chief architect of this model, Keith Ross, LandVest Senior Advisor, will lead the discussion.

Helen Taylor, State Director of The Nature Conservancy, will also be on hand to discuss their new conservation priorities and strategies—find out how their work might influence yours. We’ll round out the day with a roundtable discussion of issues important to you.
