Have you received any requests for easement changes from second generation landowners? How about questions seeking clarification of terms? Reserved rights issues? Sooner or later, if not now, every land conservancy will be working with property owners who were not the original conservation easement donors.
Join us for this important conversation, led by Scott Howard of Olson, Bzdok & Howard, PC. We’d like to hear your questions as well as any experiences you’ve had with next generation landowners.
Submit Questions: Please submit your questions for Scott by Tuesday, May 4th. Send them to julie@heartofthelakes.org Submitted questions will be answered first on the call.
Call-in number, pass code, call-in protocol and other instructions will be provided once you’ve signed up. Please note that the call-in number is NOT toll-free. For the reasonable cost of a long distance call or 60 cell phone minutes, you’ll have access to some of best conservation legal expertise in Michigan.
REMEMBER: The Ask An Attorney program is intended to provide general guidance only and is not a substitute for seeking needed legal review by a qualified attorney for conservation easements or other land transactions.
