Find out the latest about the updated Michigan Model Conservation Easement with its editor, Frank Aiello, Assistant Professor, Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Frank has been working with the Michigan conservancy community and Heart of the Lakes Center for Land Conservation Policy on the update. We’ll discuss the update, an upcoming Practioner’s Guide, and next steps for the Michigan Model.

How to participate: The Ask An Attorney conference call is available to representatives of all Michigan land conservancies and their conservation partners. Please register by Wednesday, June 2. Call-in number, pass code, call-in protocol and other instructions will be provided once you’ve signed up. Please note that the call-in number is NOT toll-free. For the reasonable cost of a long distance call or 60 cell phone minutes, you’ll have access to some of best conservation legal expertise in Michigan.
